Kayla: "Where does Gerber look for inspiration?"
Susan: "We do a lot of shopping here. We look at the trends. We look at the Junior market the European market.
Kayla: What trends were expected for summer of 2022?
Susan: Fruits and flowers for girl. Beach motifs for boy."
Kayla: "What makes the new one-piece rash guard for girl stand out?"
Susan: "We added a little ruffle sleeve at the shoulders for cuteness but also a center front zipper, which is great for easy changing. The little zipper tab protects the baby's neck because safety is very important."
Kayla: "Those ruffles are cute!"
Kayla: "Did they play a part throughout the entire girl swim collection?"
Susan: We love ruffles and we added them to the back of the bottoms for our two-piece set for girl also. On the one-piece swimsuit for girl, we enhanced the ruffle by giving it a two tone look with a coordinating solid fabric under the main ruffle.
Kayla: "Can you tell me more about the cover up I see here for girls?"
Susan: "This is the first time Gerber has produced cover ups. They are a cozy terry knit and come with a hood to protect baby’s head from the sun and dry them off. They are perfect for right after the pool or ocean and come in pink and white for girl."
Kayla: "What swim options do we have for boy?"
Susan: "We have a one-piece rash guard and a 2-piece rash guard for boy. We designed a fun tropical theme, alligator, camo, turtles and sharks."
Kayla: "Can you tell me about the sun protection for our swim products?"
Susan: "The fabric is treated with UPF 50. It is very gentle in the baby's skin and protects baby and toddlers from the sun's rays."
Kayla: "What sizes do the swimsuits come in?"
Susan: "They range from 0-3M and go up to 5T."
Kayla: "Thank you for giving me a chance to talk about some of my designs.
I hope you enjoyed it. Bye!"
