Exercising With Baby
If “Take 30 Minutes To Exercise” doesn’t seem to make it to your to-do list, try incorporating baby into your fitness routine. It might help you keep that task higher on your priority list and it will give you extra bonding time together. Here are a few ideas on what you can do to get in shape while you spend time with your new addition.
Dance – Turn on some tunes and dance around the house with baby. Not only will she enjoy the movements, but it can evoke a love for music as well. If baby just wants to watch, mom’s funny moves might elicit her sweet laughter.
Take a Class – Popular mommy and baby classes can range from swimming to dancing to gymnastics and more. It is a great way to get out of the house to socialize with other moms and babies and will help you to create a healthy lifestyle for your child.
Family Outings – Consider making family outings, such as trips to the park, bike rides, touring a museum and going to the pool, a regular activity to promote exercise and family togetherness. Make sure baby is dressed appropriately for the weather.
