Safe Sleep Tips
-
Good nights start with safe nights. So when your baby is safe throughout the night, the whole family will get a good night's sleep.
-
Always put your baby on his back to sleep to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, unless otherwise recommended by your doctor.
-
Keep pillows, soft toys and blankets out of the baby's crib when it's time for bed.
-
Never tie a pacifier or teether around baby's neck.
-
Use sheets that fit secure and snug like Gerber® brand crib sheets so sheets don't accidentally pull off mattress.
-
Fabric and fit are important safety considerations for children's sleepwear. Once your child begins wearing 12 months size clothing, sleepwear should be flame-resistant or snug fitting to meet U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission sleepwear requirements. Gerber® brand cotton and thermal pj's are designed for a snug fit and ensure a cozy night sleep.
