Everything for baby

Gerber has created a layette guide just for you, to help you know what you will need for your newborn before she arrives.
  • One-piece underwear is an essential item in every baby's wardrobe. The lap shoulder neckline makes dressing baby easier by allowing the garment to easily slide over baby's head, and to make diaper changing easier, the 3-snap closure is positioned higher for easier access.
  • Sleep 'n play outfits are perfect for any activity - going out, playtime or naptime. Gerber® sleep 'n play outfits have fitted sleeve cuffs to stay in place on baby's arms and built-in feet to keep little toes cozy warm. And an added feature on the newborn size is mitten cuffs to help prevent scratching.
  • Gowns are essential for newborn babies by making diaper changing quicker and easier for mom, dad and baby. Gerber® gowns have a banded bottom to keep babies feet covered, cozy and warm. Mitten cuffs allow you to cover the baby's hands to keep them warm and to prevent scratching.
  • Receiving blankets are perfect for swaddling a newborn baby to make them feel snug and warm. Gerber® brushed cotton flannel receiving blankets are ideal for swaddling and can also be used to cover baby up when going outdoors.
  • Bibs are necessary to keep baby drool and feeding messes to a minimum. Gerber® bibs have a soft closure and are 2-ply to help prevent leaks and spills from seeping through to baby's tender skin and an adjustable neck to fit any size baby.
  • Caps, mittens and socks/booties are the perfect accessories to help keep baby warm. Caps are essential to keep baby's head cozy warm since most body heat is lost through their heads. Mittens help to prevent baby from scratching and socks/booties keep their little feet cuddly warm.
  • Side snap shirts are great to use for newborns and provide no-fuss dressing for parents and baby without having to go over the head. Long sleeves have mitten cuffs to cover baby's hands to prevent possible scratching.
